I want to send a shout out to my cousin Laura and her husband, Patrick to congratulate them on the birth of their baby girl. Dahlia Adriana Versteeg was born on May 26!!! She is very cute and I hope mom and dad are adjusting well to parenthood.
My hard drive died last week...I am a little depressed because there were many photos on there that I neglected to print out and back up that are lost forever :o( We sent it over to a data recovery place and they said that it is hopeless. Fortunately I have some pictures of my belly, etc on this blog that I can download. I am really kicking myself in the ass for not putting them on a disc. Please learn from my mistake and BACK UP EVERYTHING IMPORTANT!!!!
OK, now that I got that out of my system, pregnant life is going really well and I have little to no complaints at this point. I am continuing to stay very active and I think that really helps with my physical and mental well being. I am going to try a new prenatal yoga class tonight and I really hope that it works out for me this time. The last couple of classes I have taken have left me with a sore lower back.
Last week I went back to Novato for Erin's shower. It was so much fun to see a lot of my family and friends. Both my mom and Erin got to feel the baby move and that was really exciting. At this point it is hard for me to predict when he is going to move. By twenty-eight weeks he should be moving on a regular basis so hopefully more people can experience it. Tuna likes to sleep and purr on my belly. With out neglect, he always gets a swift punch or kick while on my lap. I can't help but giggle every time this happens. I wonder if Tuna can sense that there is a creature inside my tummy and he is lying on top of him to snuggle with him...probably just wishful thinking.
