Five Weeks

I'm Pregnant!!!!!! I can't believe that after almost a year and a half, two lupron shots and one surgery, the pregnancy test has finally read "positive"! On Monday my period was two days late so I decided to take a pregnancy test. I wasn't very optimistic since my period has been late in the past and I have never been pregnant. But I thought I would give it a whirl anyway. The first test showed two lines but one was extremely faint. So I decided to buy two more tests and they were both clearly positive!! (they had a plus/minus system instead of a one/two line).

Eric was at work when I found out and I didn't want to tell him over the phone. So I wrote him a poem and at the bottom attatched the three positive pregnancy tests. He was so excited and has been calling me Mommy ever since! I haven't told anyone else yet since we have decided to wait until after the first trimester. But it is eating me up inside and I don't know how long I can keep it a secret. I think I will try to atleast wait until I see my doctor at week 8 for my first prenatal visit.

I am still in disbelief and don't really feel pregnant. Maybe by next week I will.

Symptoms:
So far I have had very little symptoms. I have had slight headaches and breast tenderness. I pee a lot and am tired but I have always been a frequent pee-er and my sleepiness may be due to abruptly giving up caffiene. I have also noticed that I need to allow more time between eating and working out than before or I get slight indigestion. My boobs don't seem any larger, but I am hoping that will change :o)

Intersting Tidbits:
I went to get a massage yesterday and found out that you shouldn't during your first trimester because it could potentially induce a miscarriage. Who knew? I guess no massages for me for two months. Oh well, a small sacrifice to make!
