Clarity in ones eyes....

This happens to be our 100th post!! (We wish more would comment..) Pretty cool. We're really excited that we have been able to share with you all everything up to this point, and looking forward to sharing what's around the corner. From the past Lupus event that Megan and I went to, where we won this really cool photography opportunity where Oliver gets his picture taken by a professional, and put together in a neat collage of sorts. I took a few pics w/ my camera while the photographer wasn't looking.. We'll be looking over the pics to see what pics we want in the collage on Thursday. Should be fun to see what he got from 4 rolls of film!!
We spent last weekend celebrating Fathers Day. It' was really fun to have my first Fathers Day!! We went out for pancakes and took it easy for the day.
Oliver will be turning 9 months this week, amazing!! His latest new thing is talking. We're starting to think he's saying "Hi Dadda" when I walk in the room sometimes. He's been able to say "hi" from time to time, and is starting to say dadddddmmaadda.. It's really quite cute..

La-lalaba-baaa-bzzzz

Our little lover is truly a ladies man. Not only do woman love this little man, but even little baby girls. Oliver has a girlfriend that he sees a few times a week at mommy and baby classes. Katie and Oliver are really cute together. When they see each-other for the first time, they both go EHHH, and smile, and try to grab at each-other. Katties mom, Abby is a friend of Megan's, and my sister Crisitina. She and Katie joined us at my sisters baby shower a few days ago.
Megan and I are thinking that Oliver will do one of two things in regards to crawling. He will take the leap and crawl more then a few feet away from where he starts, or totally skip crawling, and start to walk. Many babies skip crawling, and go right to walking. At this time, Oliver can reach out in a crawling position, and then sit himself back up. So, he has a couple of the crawling skills one needs to do it. We'll see what happens. Megan won a cool photography package at the Lupus gala we went to last week. There was an auction that Megan bid on, that allows us to get a bunch of cool pics taken professionally for Oliver. The photographer does an interesting type of baby pics, he calls them baby parts. Takes individual pics of a babies body, may it be the tummy, an arm, leg, or head shots. Then he takes the pics, and makes a collage of sorts. Should be fun to see.. I bid, and won at the same auction the right to toss the first pitch at the Cubs game!!! Oliver will be on the mound with me, so t should be fun for him too.

Sunshine Of Your Love

Oliver has been eating very well since he popped out of Megans tummy 8 months ago. Other then boob juice, Oliver loves his veggies for lunch, and goes crazy for mangos! He was introduced to Teddy Grams (Little baby finger food), and rice crisps. He'll grab a few in his hands, and then want Megan or me to put one in his mouth. He's getting the idea that he can feed himself with his fingers.
We can't wait to have Oliver see these great sunsets in the future. He loves looking at books with bright colors. Should be fun to see how he likes the night sky...
