It's been some time since we heard from you....

As you can see, the blog has taken on a new look of sorts. Other then the color, we have now given everyone who follows Oliver's blog, a chance to participate also. Please leave a message from time to time. We would love to hear from everyone.

You brighten up all of my days, with a love so sweet in so many ways!!!!

Nothing but giggles, and giggles, Oliver has the giggle bug now. He loves Megans hair waved in his face, and my zurberts on his tummy. He also is smiling ear to ear when he sees himself in the mirror, he knows he's a little heart breaker!!
We trust everyone had a good X-mass, Oliver sure did! We thank everyone who sent him gifts, he loves all of the fun things from toys, and cloths. The weather is giving us an opportunity to go out on some walks the last few days, and give Oliver some fresh air. He loves his walks, and stroller, once he hits the fresh air, it's lights out.
I was looking through some past posts, and noticed there are not to many pics of me, or the three of us together, so here are a few...
Till the next time....

Three Months old!!

Oliver is now three months old! He has developed a lot in this past month. He now giggles when he smiles (VERY VERY cute!); does mini push ups when he is lying on his stomach; grabs for objects intentionally and holds onto them and many other things. Since he is now three months old I have decided that it is time to move him into his own room. I am starting the transition by having him take naps in his crib where he will eventually spend the night. This may seem easy but is not because I have him in a very bad habit of falling asleep and spending his entire nap on me. The minute I put him down his eyes pop open and he stays awake. So I definitely have my work cut out for me...
The Monday after next Oliver starts music class. I'm not sure exactly what we'll be doing but Oliver seems to really enjoy music so I am very excited for it. Tomorrow will be Oliver's first Christmas. Since he is so young it probably will be pretty uneventful. I will, however, take it as a photo op and dress him up in Christmas clothes. No hat though since he cries every time I put one on. I wish he liked to wear them because they are so cute.

Seems like all I really was doing, was waiting for you!

It's an amazing thing, life. It gives so many turns, twists, challenges, and gifts!!! We have certainly been given something that both Megan and I are so thankful for, an amazing gift of love. As we approach X-mass, and the holidays, I can't help to think about this little gift we have.
Oliver will be 12 weeks old on Saturday. He is becoming one hell of a fist sucker, or is trying to pop his little fist in his mouth. He loves bath time every night, where Megan gives him a little body massage at the end of every bath. (I never got that!!) He loves his lion puppet named Artie, and his three friends who sit with him on his sling. Megan and I can't agree on who there names are, but Oliver doesn't care, he loves them!
Oliver has met almost everyone in his family! We'll be coming to California, to visit and introduce Oliver to the rest of his family in mid February, where he will meet his little cousin from the Netherlands, and his other set of Grandparents, and other family members. It will be nice to give Oliver a feel for where his Mommy is from.
As we get closer to closing out 2005, I find it strange that people take this time of the year, and really only this time of the year, to realize the love ones in our lives, the important things in our lives, and the things we want to change in our lives. Everyday, it's a great day to re-realize life, love, and yourself!
From Oliver, Megan and I:
To all the people in our lives, we love you, and are thankful for having you in our lives! We're happy to be sharing our love, and life with you, through these pages of this blog. We're grateful for your support, participation, and love you have given us through the years, and now also with, and to Oliver!
