Brushing Brian's teeth

Oliver went to the dentist for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it ended up being a lot of fun. Before the dentist came by we met with the hygienist and "Brian" the bear. Brian is a big stuffed animal with a huge mouth full of teeth. Oliver got to brush Brian's teeth which was quite a treat. The whole time we were waiting for the dentist Oliver kept asking when it was going to be his turn to get his teeth brushed. It was really cute and he also made friends with another little boy who was waiting to be seen. They bonded over a couple of Clifford and Arthur books that I read to them. Normally two year olds sit on their mom's lap while they get their teeth clean. But Oliver decided that he was too big for that and sat in the chair alone. The only bad part about the visit was learning that we wouldn't be going back until next September!
